What Zandvoort is known for? The beach, of course! Here you can enjoy the sun and the many beach bars. But there is more. The race track, for example, fun for car enthusiasts. And what about the beautiful nature? On one side we obviously have the beach, the other side borders on dunes. Walking and cycling, spotting foxes and deer: it's all possible in the dunes. For daily shopping, Zandvoort has a number of supermarkets. In the centre you will find various shops and restaurants. From Zandvoort's train station, Haarlem and Amsterdam are within easy reach.

Things to do in Zandvoort
Zandvoort has plenty to offer all year round. You can warm up at one of the year-round pavilions after a refreshing walk along the beach. On a hot summer day, you can sunbathe, have a drink or dine at one of the 35 (!) beach bars along the boulevard. The centre of Zandvoort also offers excellent shopping. Popular streets are the Kerkstraat and the Haltestraat. Here, most shops are open all year round, seven days a week. In high season, many shops are even open until 10pm. Planning an evening out? Visit the Holland Casino, located on the boulevard. Finally, Zandvoort is of course inseparable from the Historic Circuit Zandvoort. The circuit is beautifully situated in the dunes. The circuit was first used in 1939 and the last Formula 1 race took place in 1985. Almost 15 years later, it was decided that Formula 1 should return to the Circuit Zandvoort. On 3 May 2020, the ''first'' Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix Zandvoort will take place.
