Tidy up properly. It sounds obvious but selling starts with tidying up. Toys lying around on the floor or loose items lying on the table look messy. A tidy home looks bigger!
Do you have blinds, net curtains or blinds hanging in front of the window? Open these when the photographer comes and there are viewings. That way the viewer will immediately see how bright your property is.
Remove personal items. A cosy photo wall with holiday pictures will distract your buyer from what really matters: your home.
Besides tidy, a viewer also likes it when your home is fresh and clean.
Are doors or windows sticking? Is the front door lock not working properly or is a tap leaking? Have this looked at before you start selling.
